The PowerTech PVX6.8L engine of John Deere Power System (JDPS) has a power of over 130 kW(174 hp) and its Powerech PsX6.8L engine has been awarded by EPA and EU.

(EU) certification, in line with temporary Tier 4 and Stage l B regulations. PowerTech PSX and PVX 6.8L engines have been added.

The engine platform includes cooling exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) for controlling NOx and exhaust filter for reducing PM.

The certified PowerTech PVX 6.8L provides a power range of 138-187 KW (185-250 ho), while the PowerTech PsX6.8L provides a power range of 168-224KW(225-300 hp). The temporary Ticr 4/stagc11B emission regulations came into effect on January 1, 2011, and are applicable to 130kW (174hp).
